<\/p>\nToday we want to talk to you about the Musical of the Beauty and the Beast.<\/p>\n
All the material we have is compiled, classified and corrected so it\u2019s ready for you.<\/p>\n
This musical has not been easy to make. Lots of scenes, lots of dancing, complex\u00a0characterizations and pretty hard songs for the boys and girls. But the end result\u00a0turned out really well! Here we will tell you how we got there.<\/p>\n

Today we will talk about how we put together this musical with our boys and girls.\u00a0The decision was not easy, because the project was very ambitious.<\/p>\nWe decided that we would do the same musical for the three different age groups\u00a0we have:<\/p>\n
Ages 7-9, 10-11 and 12-13.<\/p>\n
For each of them we had to adapt the script differently, reducing it according to the\u00a0age of the group. Not only did we reduce scenes, but we also reduced the number\u00a0of words in each \u201cdialogue\u201d especially for the littler ones.<\/p>\n

We did the same with the songs. Some of the sung interventions were only done by\u00a0the older ones. This occurred especially in the scene where Beauty and the Beast\u00a0read the story of King Arthur from a book. In the original script, this scene is done\u00a0on a musical basis which sometimes makes some of the actors sing part of the text.\u00a0After seeing that it was too difficult for the little ones to match the text to the song\u00a0in this way, we excluded it only for this age group.<\/p>\n
Another very complicated scene was where Bella walks through the village singing\u00a0the song Belle and different characters from the village take part. In the group of\u00a0the little ones we recorded the intervention of the village to make it easier for the\u00a0children to interpret and guide them (exemples aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/strong>)<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"http:\/\/www.teatreimusicalsinfantils.com.mialias.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/2I4A2583_redu_LI-300x200.jpg\")
As you know many of the characters are very distinctive, with a very particular\u00a0costume and makeup. This was one of the most motivating and exciting aspects for\u00a0the little ones since they had to play characters who weren't human, rather, they\u00a0were half human, half objects. The most interesting thing was to practice and\u00a0rehearse the way of speaking, walking and gesturing with them in each of their\u00a0interventions.<\/p>\n
A very important part of the play was the costume design. Here is where the\u00a0parents of the children helped us a lot by contributing with all their enthusiasm and\u00a0virtuosity in the creation of all the costumes and also in part of the props.<\/p>\n
Finally, I want to talk about the songs we created for this musical adapted to\u00a0Catalan. Here is the list. We only did some of these songs for the older group. You\u00a0will find samples of the audios of each song so that you can check out the\u00a0adaptations to Catalan in\u00a0this link<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\nWe will also include the lyrics to all the music needed for the performance:<\/p>\n
